ROBCAD is an interactive, user-friendly, comprehensive engineering toolfor design simulation and off-line programming of flexible automationsystems. ROBCAD enables the manufacturing engineer to:

Model, modify, and quickly evaluate concepts for automating a

manufacturing process, eliminating wrong approaches.

Generate detailed design using ROBCAD's libraries of robots,

automation components, and user-created CAD files, saving considerableengineering time.

Accurately simulate and optimize the operation of the automation

system.

Off-line program the automation system by downloading programs from

ROBCAD to the robot controller, saving manufacturing downtime andeliminating collisions between system components.ROBCAD utilizes state-of-the-art computer graphics to visualize aproposed automation system in operation, and determine its feasibility,cost, and performance before purchase of any equipment.
